What is a Zoom Evaluation?
*If you have reliable Internet service, Zoom is a free and easy interface to download and use. It gives the supervisor, the student, and me, as your evaluator, a chance to ’see’ one another and share information. Students can show me artwork, items they have made, or projects they have completed. Being able to 'see' one another can help facilitate the evaluation process.
How to Get Started with Zoom?
- Start at Zoom's signup page.
- Activate your account.
- Create your account name and password.
- Tell Dawn you prefer a ‘Zoom’ evaluation.
- Dawn will e-mail you a link for the Zoom evaluation appointment the week of your evaluation.
- On the date and time of your evaluation, click the ‘Join Zoom Meeting' button and this will take you to your Zoom app.
- Choose the button for ‘Join with Video.’ You will then see a message stating that the meeting host will let you in soon.
- Once you’re admitted to the meeting, you will need to chose ‘Call Using Internet Audio’ for me to be able to hear you.
- And then, we will then be ready to do the Zoom homeschool video interview together!
